ISE index up 8.23 points

Bulls strengthened their position at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday where equities witnessed broad-based recovery under the lead of hot favourites amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index was up by 8.23 points from 2,607.20 to 2,615.43 points.
Turnover stood at 84,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 149,400 shares. Total 116 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority, 67, closed in the positive territory, and 49 landed in minus column.
The volume of OGDCL was 19,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 25,700 shares. The volume of PTCL was 15,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 67,500 shares. The turnover of Nishat Mills was 15,000 shares.
