'Cut in POL prices gives relief to masses'

Provincial Minister for Communication & Works and Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League Punjab Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din Khan said here on Thursday that by reducing prices of petrol and diesel, federal government has given relief to the people especially low income segments of the society.
He said that reduction in fuel prices would also result in decrease in the rate of essential items, as due to this decision, the expenditure on transportation will also reduce. Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din further said that Muslim League government had always shown keen interest in the welfare of the masses.
