Sindh Tarqi Passand Party (STPP) Chairman, Dr Qadir Magsi has said that his party would take part in the coming general elections if held fair and transparent. He said after expressing condolence with a party leader Zameer Leghari over the death of his father Sadiq Leghari in Dodu Khan Leghari village near here on Wednesday.
The STPP chairman said that Sindhis should get unit to make the nationalists successful in coming general elections so that they could resolve the problems of Sindh. He alleged that elections in Pakistan had never been held in fair and transparent manner. He said that 1970-71 polls were fair to some extent but power was not delivered to successful party as a result country was divided into two parts.
Dr Qadir said that the coastal areas of Karachi were property of Sindh and no one would be allowed to grab them, adding the construction of Kalabagh Dam would also be resisted.
