In order to discuss the expansion of commercial and economic relations between the two countries, Pakistan-Japan Joint Business-Government Dialogue would be held from January 21 to 23 here at a local hotel.
In this connection, Pakistan's Ambassador to Japan, Kamran Niaz is visiting Pakistan to participate in the event. Leading business executives from Pakistan and Japan have already conformed their attendance in the dialogue. Some of the expatriate Pakistani businessmen in Japan will also attend the event.
Abdul Kader Jaffer, President of the Pakistan-Japan Business Forum (PJBF) and Tohar Tsuji, Chairman of the Japan-Pakistan Business Corporation Committee (JPBCC) will lead the dialogue.
The exchange in the framework of the bilateral dialogue will provide vital inputs for expansion of commercial and economic relations. Participants will have an opportunity of exchange of views among themselves as well as to share these with the senior officials of the government of Pakistan.
Recommendations of this important forum will help both the governments to further strengthen Pakistan-Japan commercial and trade relations. A large Japanese delegation, comprising senior representatives of the major Japanese corporations and officials of the Japanese government will visit Islamabad in this regard. The dialogue aims at to have frank exchange of views on ways to boost the bilateral economic and business relations between the two countries.
