The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) has disconnected power supply to offices of 45 departments and institutions of federal and provincial governments here due to non-payment of Rs 200 million dues.
The action was taken by Hesco Sukkur administration on the directives of Chief Executive Hesco Khawaja Maqbool Ahmed. However, the Hesco, to give relief to public, did not disconnect power supply to installations of drainage, water pumping stations, hospitals and courts.
