Chairman ARD and PPPP central leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim has denied of any differences between PPPP and PML-N and termed it as propaganda. Speaking at a seminar on 'Intra- Religious Harmony' here on Sunday, he said, ARD would continue to struggle against those who have hijacked the nation at gunpoint.
Later talking to newsmen, he said, rumours about rift between PPPP and PML-N are baseless and nobody could break ARD. It has been established to restore true democracy in the country and hoped that they APC would gain more strength from ARD-platform.
"ARD was not formed to be broken, it has been formed to bring real democracy in the country", he maintained. He alleged that President Musharraf runs his government on US' dictates and implements Bush's policies.
"Bush-Mush" government, anywhere will be threat to the world security, adding, he said that both have killed a number of innocent people to prolong their rule.
"The ego of General Musharraf has reached to such an extent that he, while challenging the Supreme Court ban of kite flying in Lahore allowed the district nazim to allow kite flying during Basant through an ordinance. This is a sheer violation of the Constitution and an insult to the Supreme Court", he maintained. He said that the president is the symbol of the federation but Musharraf has made his character controversial.
ARD chairman said General Musharraf seeks vote and urges the nation to give vote to his men.
What does it mean, does it mean he is the president of some specific segment of people and he seeks vote for them and rest of the countrymen are his enemies", he questioned.
Responding to a question about demolishing of mosques, he said the issue of demolishing mosques started from India and now the followers of Bush have imitated here in Pakistan.
Earlier, addressing the seminar, he said there is dire need to create awareness among the masses to promote inter-religious harmony. Big and strong powers create mayhem in the weaker countries that disturbs peace in the world", he lamented.
"US attack on Iraq was solely for getting control on oil. This was not aimed at protecting the humanity and by telling lies, Bush soiled its own image as well as his aides before the world", he concluded.
