Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr Gunter Mulack on Tuesday visited the International Islamic University (IIU) and called on its President Dr Anwar Hussain Siddiqui. Dr Muhammad Hasan Al-Khalifa, Vice President of the University of Academic Affairs was also present on the occasion.
Dr Anwar briefed the German Ambassador about objectives and activities of the University. He told him that the University was established to provide quality education in both traditional as well as modern fields of knowledge.
Dr Anwar Siddiqui also informed the ambassador that the University was open to students from all over the world without any discrimination. He expressed the desire to have collaboration wit German Universities. German Ambassador expressed his keen interest in University and its activities and hoped that in future, the university would be a source of close relations between German and other European universities.
