A walk to raise awareness about the menace of corruption was held in Islamabad on Tuesday. Students and teachers participated in the walk that commenced from China Chowk and culminated at the Parliament house.
They carried banners and placards reading messages such as "corruption leads to destruction", "corruption is a threat to society", "Stop corruption" etc. Speaking on the occasion, former Chairman NAB Munir Hafiz called upon citizens to play their role in the fight against corruption as no government or its institution can defeat it single handedly. Appreciating the students and teachers for holding the walk, he said such walks are a source of highlighting the evils of society.
