All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) would support all the proposals put forward by Pakistan for an honourable solution of the Kashmir issue, said Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, Chairman APHC here on Saturday.
He said, "Indian Prime Minister's visit to Pakistan in near future would be an important breakthrough regarding Kashmir issue." He was talking to journalists at Islamabad International Airport before departing for New Delhi along with Abdul Ghazi Bhatt and Bilal Ghani Lone via Lahore by PIA flight No PK-885.
Mirwaiz told reporters that their visit to Pakistan was very successful as Pakistani government assured them to take the Kashmiri leadership into the confidence about any development for the resolution of Kashmir problem. India should also change her behaviour, he said.
It is the need of the hour that APHC on both sides of the LoC should unite on Kashmir issue. This is very complicated issue and all efforts should be made with full strength to resolve it, he said.
Mirwaiz was happy to include Kashmiri leadership in consultation process and hoped that Pakistan would continue taking them into confidence. On the occasion, Professor Abdul Ghani Bhatt, said that although some elements do not want to settle the Kashmir issue but the delegation got extraordinarily positive response from Pakistani government as well as people during its visit.
