China is actively engaged in many mega projects in Pakistan, especially in the up-gradations of Karakoram Highway (KKH) and Chashma-II (C-II) nuclear power plant.
The out-going Chinese Ambassador of People's Republic of China to Pakistan, Zhang Chunxiang, stated this while talking to newsman after the farewell reception hosted here on Saturday. He said the Chinese engineers are working on Chashma-II power project and the work is going smoothly.
As far as the Karakoram Highway (KKH) is concern, about 170 engineers conducting survey for its up-gradation and the work is likely to be started in April, this year.
While commenting on his 20-years of diplomatic service in Pakistan as Chinese Ambassador, he said, "I feel it like my own country and never think that I was posted outside China and after retirement I will prefer to live in Pakistan." A large number of senior citizens and others attended the reception.
