Sindh health department has declared an emergency for three days in all provincial and district hospitals. In a notification the provincial government has declared the emergency from January 28 to 30 in all provincial and district hospitals.
All heads of the private and public sector hospitals have been directed to tighten the security within hospital premises and ensure that the staff remains available 24 hours to meet any untoward situation. In this connection a cell has been constituted at Civil Hospital Karachi to work round the clock during the period. The contact numbers of the cell are: 021-9215759, and 021-9215740.
