Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Saturday released 51,186 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded on Saturday was at 45,777 cusec.
Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded on Saturday was at 1453.98 feet. The present water level at the dam was 84 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 17,000 cusec while outflow was 20,000 cusec.
The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1133.85 feet which was 83 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 12,591 cusec while outflow was recorded at 15,000 cusec. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 9,810 cusec and 6,376 cusec, respectively.
