Sindh government with the approval of Sindh Chief Minister has set up "Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority" (Stevta). The chief minister will be the chairman of Authority and chief secretary would be vice chairman.
The Stevta board will comprise of Secretaries of Labour, Industries, Finance, Education and Literacy, besides four experienced industrialists to be nominated by Sindh government for three years, a representation from recognised Energy University of Technologies and a representative from Nevtec. Managing Director of Stevta will also act a member/secretary of the board.
