Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, on Thursday issued the Sindh Development Authorities Laws (Amendment) Ordinance-2007 whereby Larkana and Sehwan Development Authorities have been revived. Both the Authorities will stand revived from July 1, 2002, according to the Ordinance.
The enforcement of this Ordinance will presume that laws related to these Authorities had not been repealed and will stand revived effective July 1, 2002 in their originality. However, district nazims will now head these Authorities in place of former Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners.
