Pakistan Peoples Party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto on Thursday congratulated advocate Khan Ghawas, the newly-elected president and other office-bearers of District Bar Association, Mardan.
In a statement issued here, she said that the democratic panel of lawyers won significant victory in the Mardan bar elections as its candidates were elected to the slots of president, vice-president and finance secretary. Bacha Rehman was elected as vice-president and SM Riaz as finance secretary.
The former prime minister said she was delighted on the victory of democratic panel. Felicitating the newly elected president, she also asked him to convey her felicitations to other members of the bar who won the election.-PR
