It is very distressing and unfortunate that due to frequent VVIP movements this mega city and center of business is almost paralysed. On the arrival of our President or Prime Minister or even a minister, the entire city of Karachi is blocked.
Three days out of a week are lost due to VVIP movement. One day is lost for a strike and two days are weekly holidays. The result is that only one day is left as a working day for the people of Karachi. In other words six working days are flagrantly lost. Therefore, the VVIP movements days turn into black days for us.
It is hoped that VVIP will take serious notice of our grievances and as remedial steps should start, using helicopters. They should fix their arrival schedule between 10.00 pm to 7.00 am.
The daytime from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm must be spared for Karachi citizens to enable them to attend their work, without the impact of traffic clogging and experiencing neck breaking hardships. By adopting the above suggestions our VVIP shall be making a favour to the citizens of Karachi.
