Sindh Minister for Local Government, Katchi Abadies and Special Development, Muhammad Hussain Khan has directed formation of Governing Body of Sehwan Development Authority (SDA) so as to accelerate the pace of various development projects, specially in housing sector.
This he said while presiding over the first meeting of Sehwan Development Authority after its revival, a news release issued here on Sunday said.
Additional Chief Secretary Local Government Rukhsana Saleem, Special Secretary Local Government (Technical and Housing) Ghulam Arif Khan and Special Secretary Local Government Iqbal Zubaidi were also present on the occasion.
The minister said that it was very unfortunate that Gulshan-e-Shahbaz Housing Scheme, launched in 1982 has not picked up pace.
