Rising trend was again witnessed on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Tuesday as supply was short as compared to demand, dealers said. The March vaida was unchanged at Rs 695.00. Later, it gained Rs 4.00 to be day's best at Rs 699.00 and closing was seen at the same level.
In process of trading, it shed Rs 5.00 to be day's lowest at Rs 694.00, they said. The May vaida was inert at Rs 717.50 and that proved to be day's lowest at the same level. Later, it gained Rs 9.00 to be day's highest at Rs 726.50 and market settled at Rs 725.50, they said.
