Pakistani actor Fawad Khan who mostly stays mum about his personal life and controversies has now opened up about his equations in Bollywood and whats going on in his life especially after getting banned in India.
While talking to Dawn, the actor reveals everything fans wanted to know about him. Talking about his family and the newly-born baby, he said, The most important thing to me right now is my daughter. Weve just had a baby and she takes up most of my time, and Im finally getting to spend quality time with my family.
When Fawad was asked about the ban and how it has affected his friendship with Indian artistes, he said, Some people may say its wrong and that you should stand up for whats right, but my argument is: Its all so grey, how can you say whats right or wrong? You stand up for one thing and there will always be someone whos an opponent of that idea.
He further added, Im still in touch with a lot of my friends there (Bollywood). Nothings really changed. Obviously, Im not a man of steel in that peoples words dont affect me. They might hurt me. But I am becoming immune to it as time goes by. I have no expectations from them, and thats what I think has developed this camaraderie. Even if I dont work with them ever again, Ill still always have love and regard for them, and I assume thats how they feel as well. Thats why were still in touch. We even make plans to meet, to catch-up.
In 2014, he made his debut with Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat and there was no looking back. He was roped in by Dharma Productions for two of their most important projects Kapoor & Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He will now be seen in a Pakistani movie Maula Jatt 2 directed by Bilal Lashari, which also stars Hamza Ali Abbasi in a lead role.
Fawad has been beefing up for his character in Lasharis reboot of Maula Jatt.
