Hollywood latest release 'Fifty Shades Darker' once again starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan is more unintentionally hysterical than the original, as per the early reviews by critics. The movie has just hit the cinemas worldwide and isnt receiving much of a positive response from the audience as well as movie critics.
Directed by James Foley with a screenplay from Niall Leonard and based on the E L James novel, Fifty Shades Darker is not only a subtle film, but there is little to no chemistry between lead cast Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. The problems do not stop there, the dialogue is not particularly good either, with a number of serious lines sounding laughable or causing heads to shake, IGN reported.
"A movie only a masochist could love," writes Matt Singer for ScreenCrush. "What little plot there is resolves quickly and easily, but then the film keeps going, until you begin to understand what it feels like to be punished by a self-described sadist like Christian Grey".
Fifty Shades Darker is an ordeal to watch not because of its gothic eroticism but because of its utter blandness, Independent reported.
With the recent reviews, one of the most anticipated movies of 2017 seems to be most abrupt crash of all time.
