The Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned the proceedings in a petition filed by a member LHC Bar Association (LHCBA), who urged the court to ban on manufacturing of kites. The petitioner M D Tahir also prayed to the court to strictly hold the government responsible for death of innocent citizens during the Basant festival, which has taken lives of 27.
Earlier, the law officer had sought short adjournment when court asked him about his failure to reply to the petition. Later, the court gave him time and adjourned the petition without fixing next date of hearing.
