The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed District Police Officer (DPO), Nankana Sahib to take strict action against Sub-Inspector of a police picket Muhammad Akram for holding Abdul Ghaffar illegal custody.
The court observed that the police officials kept the innocent persons in their illegal custody only to grab illegal gratification from them. It also observed that high police officials were bound to stop such incidents. However, the court had got Ghaffar recovered from the illegal custody of respondent SI.
