Punjab Minister for Power Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani has said that the Reconciliation Cell (RC) of the Power Department will set up its website to resolve billing disputes between Wapda and various provincial government departments till the end of the month of April this year.
He told this while presiding over a departmental meeting, here on Thursday. The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer (Power) Muhammad Yaqoob and Incharge Reconciliation Cell, Iftikhar Ahmad Randhawa and System Analyst Samar Iqbal Chaudhry.
The minister said that functioning of Reconciliation Cell in the Power Department, the billing system of government departments has been toned up, which would be further accelerated with the set up of website. He said that the Cell is looking after 51,000 government electricity connections while the website would prove to be a milestone in minimising the probability of disputes.
