Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the owner of a general store to appear before the court on March 08. A petition was filed by a distributor of Stillman's cream, who asked the court to take action against the owner of the store for preparing the fake cream.
The petitioner contended that respondent Ahmed Nawaz, owner of a general store at Wahdat road, was selling Stillman's cream with adulteration. He approached the police officials for lodging of a criminal case against the respondent, but they were not inclined to act in accordance with the law. He then approached the court with prayer to direct the respondent police officials to act in accordance with the law.
