BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. It closed at 4,730.59 with a net negative change of -43.33 and percentage change of -0.91. The turnover for this sector was 31,189,800 shares. BR Cement Index was the second most active. It closed with a turnover of 24,028,100. It saw a loss of -10.23 or -0.77 percent, closing at 1,320.14.
BR Oil and Gas Index was the third most active sector. It closed sector with a turnover of 14,715,600. It closed at 2,062.62 with a net negative change of -12.6 or -0.61 percent. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,282.59 with a positive change of 7.04 or 0.55 percent. The turnover for this sector was 6,066,000.
BR Tech. & Comm. Index closed at 1,547.98 with a downward change of -18.41 and percentage change of -1.18. The volume of this sector was 6,001,100, which was the lowest among BR Indices.
