DIGs to be posted as CPOs

Senior police officers in rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) will be posted as City Police Officers in Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad and Gujranwala soon. According to police department sources, in these four cites one S.S.P operations and one S.S.P investigations would be posted with City Police Officers (CPOs).
Regional Police officers will work in seven regions of the province while Capital City Police Officer in the rank of Additional Inspector General of Police will work in Lahore. Except these five cites, District Police Officers in the rank of S.S.P. will work in 30 districts of the province.
