Equities showed healthy signs at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls commanded the proceedings under the lead of trend-setters amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 32.53 points, as index moved from 2,649.23 to 2,681.76 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 409,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 248,000 shares. Total 141 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (110) closed in positive territory, 31 landed in minus territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its previous levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 154,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 74,700 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 60,500 shares. The turnover of PTCL 47,000 shares.
