The 6th annual industrial exhibition "Made in Gujranwala" commenced at spacious Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, here on Thursday. Corps Commander Gujranwala, Lieutenant General Anis Ahmed Abbasi inaugurated the exhibition at a colourful ceremony attended by industrialists, business tycoons, officers of administration and police and city elite in a large number.
Office bearers of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry including President Rana Shehzad Hafeez were also present. The chief guest Lieutenant General Abbasi inspected various stalls set up at the venue of exhibition and appreciated workmanship of the makers and found prices competitive.
There are 170 stalls set up to exhibit local products in varied and vast varieties divided in different sections of light engineering equipment, cutlery, electrical goods in A and B section, ceramics in C section leather and textile made ups and hosiery in D section, aluminium stainless steel utensils plastic goods in F section, melamine dinner sets in G section and trading miscellaneous goods in H section among others.
