On the direction of Managing Director of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) Brigadier Iftikhar Haider all complaint centers of KWSB were activated to facilitate citizens during current rainy season.
All Zonal Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers were asked to monitor their areas and ensure de-watering of rainwater from roads and streets. They were also to cover open manholes and provide standby generators to all pumping stations of KWSB.
They were instructed to keep on close vigil on rain Nullah and ensure their smooth flow. Meanwhile, the KWSB advised citizens to lodge their complaints regarding water and sewerage to the complaint centers of KWSB.
