Sialkot District government has initiated a billion of rupees master plan, aimed at improving the means of communication system in the district, official sources told Business Recorder here on Sunday. Sources added that the government was spending more than Rs 1.22 billion on the construction of 85 different roads in Sialkot, Daska, Pasrur and Sambrial tehsils of the district.
The development work would likely be accomplished within the stipulated period. The completion of these roads would not only improve the means of communication but also support in linking the far-off areas with their respective tehsil headquarters in the district.
