The City District Government Multan (CDGM) has utterly failed to control milk price as milk-sellers are openly ignoring clear-cut directives of the CDGM and selling milk at the price of Rs 32 in spite of Rs 28 fixed by the city government.
A number of complaints were received from various parts of the city and people are constrained to buy milk at the exorbitant price.
However, City Nazim Mian Faisal Mukhtar said that CDGM would not compromise on the price issue and take stern action against those milk sellers who violate the prices set by the CDGM.
