The nation will back Iranian brethren if President George Bush ordered aggression against the Islamic republic, Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Chief of "Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal" said on Sunday.
Talking reporters in Swabi, Qazi warned the government to desist from any anti-Iran move, saying President Musharraf's 'pro-American policies will harm Pakistan'. "All Islamic groups will stand with Iran if aggression was committed against Iran," He said Islamic groups would mobilise public opinion against the United States if attack was launched against Iran. He accused President Musharraf of trying 'to get Zionist regime recognised'.
"Recognition of Zionist regime will not resolve the Palestinian issue," he said.
About Afghanistan, he said that peace could not be restored unless foreign forces are withdrawn.
He condemned Nato and American forces firing on civilian in Afghanistan. Qazi criticised President Musharraf for suspending the country Chief Justice and said 'it has proved that the President has no respect for judiciary'.
