Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir for Information and Hydel Power, Raja Mohammad Yasin Khan has said that all out efforts are being made for the early reconstruction of the quake-hit areas. This, he stated while talking to mediamen here.
Raja Mohammad Yasin Khan said that the compensation package for house damage is being paid to the quake-victims transparently. He said that the government is utilising all resources to rehabilitate the victims as soon as possible.
He added that task of rehabilitation and reconstruction would be completed with the full co-operation of government and international community.
Replying to a question, Advisor to PM said that capital of AJK, Muzaffarabad was not being shifted rather it is going to be relocated in the best interest of the masses keeping in view the seismic reports. Responding to another question, he said that full compensation is being paid to the Mangla dam upraising project victims.
He said that special attention is being given for the promotion of tourism and hydel power generation projects and in this regard, lucrative incentives are being offered to both local and foreign investors.
The Advisor to PM said that a comprehensive strategy has been evolved by the government to provide maximum job opportunities for the youth of the quake-hit areas.
He urged the public and private sector to come forward and invest in the liberated territory to bring speedy economic progress for the people of the area.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir government would soon launch a helicopter service for the promotion of tourism and to facilitate the tourists to take a bird eye view of the magnificent natural scenic beauty of Azad Kashmir, he revealed.
