Four persons were killed in separate incidents in the district here in the last 24 hours, said police sources. One Ghulam Abbas of Akrianwala, Qadirpur police station area, died due to an electric shock when he accidentally touched a faulty electric meter.
A young man Tauqir Abbas committed suicide by taking poison because of some domestic unrest in the same area. In another mishap an old woman was trampled to death by a bullock cart in Hasso Balail area, while one Niaz was crushed to death by a speeding car in a nearby village.
