Celebrating HBL PSL: Qatar Airways opens new flyways from Doha to Pakistan

DOHA: Qatar Airways is bringing sporting excitement to the UAE with all the action of the HBL Pakistan Super League, which is taking place in Dubai and Sharjah until 3 March 2017. The second edition of the tournament is set to recreate the thrilling action of the first season, with five teams competing to win the coveted title.

Through several sponsorships of popular worldwide sports entities – such as Al Ahli Saudi Football Club, International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), Sydney Swans Football Club amongst others – Qatar Airways has built a strong association with premium sporting events around the world.

The Pakistan Super League features five teams: defending champions Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Lahore Qalandars. Matches will be split between Dubai and Sharjah, with the final anticipated to take place in Lahore.

Qatar Airways operates 10 flights a day to Pakistan from its hub Doha, connecting passengers from seven different locations: Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, and Sialkot to the Middle East, Europe and the US.
