Wapda General Manager (Administration), Brigadier Najam-us-Saqib said Wapda was committed to the welfare of its employees and making utmost efforts to provide best medical facilities to them. He was addressing a concluding session of the conference of senior managers of 'Wapda Health Care System' held at Wapda Hospital Complex here on Monday.
The Conference is held periodically to assess the performance as well as outcome of the efforts to streamline, improve and up-grade medical facilities for Wapda employees throughout the country.
General Manager (Admn) expressed the hope that the conference would provide a forum for interaction and exchange of ideas to plan future strategies and achieve the cherished objectives of providing effective and efficient health care to Wapda employees and their families.
Brigadier Najam-us-Saqib told the conference that the present management of Wapda was taking keen interest in improving the quality of health care facilities for its employees. He said that the 'patient care' should be the foremost duty of a doctor.
He asked senior managers to keep the accountability aspect in view to further improve the performance of doctors.
Director General, Medical Services, Dr M Afzal Sheikh in his address, said that equipped with the latest electro-medical equipment, Wapda hospital was providing best medical facilities. Dr Zaheer-ul-lslam, chief organiser summarised the objectives and deliberations of the conference.
