Lawyers in Multan continued their protest drive on 12th day on Thursday and observed token hunger strike against the decision of making Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry non-functional.
More than 13,000 lawyers of three divisions of Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan, and districts of Jhang, Bhakkar & Mianwali did not attend the court proceedings of Sindh High Court and district courts for one hour. They also observed token hunger strike and vowed to continue their struggle till restoration of Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry to his office.
