The Swiss franc was little changed against the euro, the dollar and the yen on Friday after the Swiss central bank warned that the franc could undergo an abrupt revaluation at some point in the future. A weak franc risked a violent correction if it fell out of line with underlying economic fundamentals, said SNB Board member-designate Thomas Jordan on Thursday.
"Should the exchange rate developments not correspond to fundamental data, an abrupt and strong revaluation of the franc cannot be ruled out," he said. The franc was 0.03 percent easier versus the euro at 1.6194 francs per euro and was steady against the dollar at 1.2142 per dollar.
