Advisor of Human Resource and Development for Higher Education Commission Islamabad Dr S. Masud Raza and Project Director Sajid Hussain Shah will visit Punjab University on March 29, 2007 and will call on Vice-chancellor Lieutenant General Arshad Mahmood (Retd).
They will also review the PhD scholarship programme scheme. This scheme (5000 PhD scholarships) is being continued in all universities of the country. Higher Education Commission selects the eligible scholars and later the scholars complete their academic and research work in universities of the country.
