Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will address the lawyers of Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, on March 28. According to Pakistan Bar Council Vice Chairman Ali Ahmad Kurd, the lawyers have completed arrangements for his address.
He warned the government of dire consequences if it tried to prevent the Chief Justice from making the speech. He made clear that the lawyers would continue their peaceful protest for the reinstatement of the CJ despite the government's torture and detention.
