Anti-corruption establishment has received total of 17421 complaints of corruption concerning various government departments in 2006. This was told in a meeting of Anti-corruption Establishment held here, with Brigadier Muhammad Aslam Ghumman, (Retd) DG (ACE), in chair.
The meeting was told that out of 17421 complaints, 6128 were relating to police, 4512 about revenue, 1270 about local government adding that in 2005 (ACE) received 16508 complaints while in 2006 this number increased.
