About 1,400 top performers of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) have been given cash awards in recognition of their performance during 2006. This works out to about 10 percent of the total employees' strength of the bank.
During 2006 the bank made a record profit of over Rs 26.0 billion. The award has been named as Achievement Award and the principle of differentiated pay has been implemented to encourage the top performers in the bank.-PR
