Chief Manager of State Bank of Pakistan, Muzaffarabad, A D Butt called on AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attiq Ahmed Khan here on Wednesday. On behalf of the SBP governor, he presented the souvenir of 1,000-rupee new design currency note to the AJK prime minister and also explained its salient features.
The SBP chief manager stated that all newly designed currency notes are printed according to international standards and their exact photocopy and scanning would not be possible which minimises the possibility of counterfeiting.
He told the AJK prime minister that optical variable ink has been used for its printing besides intaglio printing. Sardar Attiq appreciated role of the central bank and conveyed his lot of appreciation and thanks for the SBP governor.
