Credit Suisse has announced its intention to launch operations in Karachi. The initial business focus will enhance its equity research coverage of Pakistani companies.
In a press release issued on Thursday said that Credit Suisse has been active in the Pakistan financial markets since the early nineties through its offices in London, Singapore and Hong Kong and currently covers over 50 Pakistan stocks through its proprietary valuation framework, HOLT.
The launch of its operations on the ground in Pakistan will enable Credit Suisse to better provide global investors with access to the Pakistan market.
