The meeting of Punjab University Syndicate will be held on Monday 2nd April 2007 at 10:00 am in the committee room of vice-chancellor's office. Punjab University Vice-chancellor, Lieutenant General Arshad Mahmood (Retd) will chair the meeting.
LECTURE: Punjab University Faculty of Science in collaboration with the Pakistan Science Foundation is organising a special lecture on 'The discovery of Super Fluidity in Helium-3: My Story' at the auditorium of Institute of Biochemistry & Biotechnology on Saturday, 31st March 2007 at 10:00 am. Professor Douglas Osheroff of Standford University, USA will deliver the lecture.
LECTURER HONOURED: Lecturer of Punjab University Department of Women Studies Ms Faiza Tayyab was awarded Rs 5,000 cash award on account of her best performance by the Vice-chancellor Lieutenant General Arshad Mahmood (Retd) in a simple ceremony here on New Campus. Director Institute of Cultural and Social Studies Professor Dr Muhammad Hafeez was also present on the occasion.
