Four federal secretaries changed

In a major reshuffling, the government posted/transferred four Federal Secretaries on Saturday. Cabinet Secretary Kamran Rasul has been made Secretary, Defence. He is the first civilian bureaucrat who has been posted as Secretary, Defence after ten years.
Textiles Secretary Masood Alam Rizvi has been transferred as Cabinet Secretary. He has been working as Trading Corporation of Pakistan Chairman and Secretary of Textile Ministry before taking over the charge of Cabinet Secretary.
Zafar Mahmood, a Grade 21 officer, has been given charge of Textiles Secretary, and Suhail Safdar has been posted as Secretary, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Co-ordination.
