The Swiss franc was slightly weaker on Tuesday after March inflation data did little to change the view the Swiss National Bank was nearing the end of its tightening cycle. Markets will also be eyeing spring forecasts by the country's leading KOF economic institute, due later in the session, for any clues as to the pace of the economy, which is showing signs of cooling off.
The franc was roughly 0.1 percent weaker against the euro at 1.6256 per euro, and was also a touch weaker against the dollar at 1.2158 per dollar.
