Chairman, Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Masood Naqi has suggested that the government should declare Mehran Two and PNT as small industrial estates. In a letter to Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan the chairman also suggested for the construction of new bridge at Korangi Industrial Estate.
The chairman also suggested for the construction of a circular railway for Korangi and Landhi industrial areas that would reduce travelling expenses of labourers and other peoples.
Masood Naqi proposed merger of all the inspections of factories in one, and the association was preparing a detailed proposal in this regard that would be forward to him very soon for his consideration and implementation. Regarding other proposals, he said that he has forwarded letters to City Nazim and Minister of Industries for acetone at their end.
