Officials asked to monitor watercourses' lining

District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sukkur, Shafique Ahmed Khoso has directed the DDOs and Mukhtiarkars to ensure effective watch and monitoring of lining of watercourses being carried out under the National Programme for Improvement of Water Courses (NPIW) in the district.
In a meeting with the field teams, DDOs and 'Mukhtiarkars' at DCO House, he asked them to play their positive role in successfully completing the lining of watercourses adding that any slackness in this regard would not be tolerated at any cost. In this regard, he warned that any field team failing to achieve its fixed target would be taken to task.
