"Ufone believes in investing in the health and wellness of its employees by promoting a healthy and caring culture and making it part of the business model integrating productivity and human factor", said the President and CEO of Ufone, Mubashir Naqvi at the Grand Finale of All Ufone badminton championship.
The all Ufone Badminton series was played in all the four regions of Ufone including South, Central 1, Central 2 and North with a participation of over 200 players nation-wide in the Men's Single and Doubles tournament.
The speedster Sharaj Patel representing South team set the seal on a comprehensive victory of 21-2 and 21-12 against Raheel Saqib (Central 2) in the Grand Finale of Men's Single tournament. Hence, the South team outshines with a great victory.
Mubashir Naqvi, praising the efforts by the Human Resources department for arranging the event, said "such recreational activities provide the employees with an opportunity of interaction, better self esteem, improved energy and promotes healthy competitions, which lead to better performance at work". Ufone is the second largest operator in the country and in addition to being an aggressive commercial player in the market, Ufone also actively takes part in social causes and sports related events on local and national level to promote a healthy society.-PR
